At the inaugural ceremony of the 8th National Conference of Agrivision, being organized at NASC Complex, Delhi on the theme 'Contribution of Agriculture in Developed India – Vision 2047', the Chief Guest was Dr. Tilak Raj Sharma, Deputy Director General (Crop Science), ICAR and Director, ICAR Research Complex, New Delhi. The Special Guests included Dr. Rakesh Chandra Agrawal, Deputy Director General (Education), ICAR, New Delhi; Shri Ashish Chauhan, National Organizing Secretary, ABVP; Dr. Punyavrat Suvimalendu Pandey, Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Samastipur; Shri Shubham Singh Patel, National Convener, Agrivision; and Ms. Shivangi Kharwal, National Secretary, ABVP, were present on the stage. The dignitaries inaugurated the conference by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

Technical Session: 2 of 8th National Convention Agrivision was about 'Breeding resource efficient next generation crops; Infrastructure upgradation for Viksit Bharat: Research, Education and extension; New upcoming challenges in food security; Harnessing indigenous biodiversity for Agriculture'. Dr R. M. Chouhan, Vice Chancellor, SDAU, Dantiwada, Gujarat was the chairman of the session, while Dr M S Chauhan, VC, GBPUAT, Pantnagar,Dr Sudhakar Pandey, ADG, Horticulture, ICAR, New Delhi were speakers in this session.

There was a Role Model Session in 8th National Convention of Agrivision. The session was Chaired by Dr A. K. Singh, Vice Chancellor, RLBCAU, Jhansi while Dr C. K. Timbadia, Vice Chancellor, GNFSU, Gujarat was Co-chairman. In this session Dr Mohan Belgamwar, Organic Agriculturist, Pune; Monika Shukla, Buzzworthy Ventures, Mumbai; Shri Prakash K.V, Trinch Agro, Bangalore; Dr Hulas Pathak, CEO, RKVY, R-ABI, IGKVV, Raipur; Shri Himanshu Khagta were the esteemed speakers.
